Winemaker's notes:
Castiglioni exhibits a dense, purple-flecked ruby. Intense, well-defined fragrances spring from the nose, wild red berryfruit and bright cherry emerging first, then darker notes of dried plum and raspberry. Supple tannins and a bright acidity contribute to a fine balance and velvet mouthfeel, while emphatic notes of tasty fruit return on a long-lingering finale.

Wine is served in stemware because the temperature at which wine is served can have a profound impact on the tastes and the enjoyment it yields. Wine glasses should always be held by the stem of the glass rather than the bowl since the heat of your hand will quickly warm the liquid.
