Winemaker's notes:
The renaissance of this historic Wellington farm owned by the Camerer family includes a modernisatino of the style of Pinotage produced here over the past decade. Distinctive and individual the vineyard influence shows through intriguing dried herb and Buchu nuances in the wines lush and concentrated blueberry perfume and flavours. A variety of oak barrels were used and while the tannins are well integrated giving immediate smooth drinkability the wine has good ageing potential. A wine with personality. Suggested food pairings are Linguine and pork picatta with rocket pesto sauce Tossed linguine with young broccoli roasted cashew nuts pork fillet picatta and freshly made rocket pesto sauce. Veal fillet Escalopes Served with a forest mushroom and peccorino cheese risotto and a pinotage and sage butter sauce.
