Winemaker's notes:
Tributo is a simple but meaningful Spanish word that means tribute, homage. It summarizes what the wine is all about: a homage to Felipe Villafaубe, one of TrapicheâрЙs emblematic grapegrowers. The choice of a Malbec wine to honour Felipe was not made at random: Malbec is the queen of grapes in FelipeâрЙs hometown, La Consulta, where he lived most of his long life of 104 years. He passed away during the winter of 2005. The drawing on the label was made by a local artist, based on a picture of Felipe, drinking mate.
