Starata Izba Parvenetz (Старата изба Първенец)

The foundations of “Starata izba - Parvenetz” (The Old Cellar-Parvenetz) were laid in the year
1881 by Dimitar Bozhilov.
Situated at the foot of the Rhodope Mountains the cellar is a unique natural and architectural
complex, which has kept some cultural and historical values.
We make red, white and rose wines. We produce “Stara reka” (“Old river”) from wines, which have matured in new bariques for
eight months. Оur reserve wines – “Stara reka” reserve – mature in brand new french oak casks for twelve months, and our club wines – “Merum club” – between twelve and twenty four months. We follow a strict process in the making of each. We take pride in our wine, as it is part of our life, family, and history as a people!
