The wine has dark ruby color, and concentrated fruit aroma. The style is fruit-forward and succulent, medium to full body. On the palate one can detect raspberry, black currant and other wild berry nuances. Soft and rounded, with lingering aftertaste.
Vintage 2005 was one of the best out of 4 consecutive vintages in Bulgaria. The dry, yet not very hot summer, followed by a long and warm autumn created favorable conditions for maturity of the grapes. They reached technological ripeness with an optimum balance of sugar content, organic acids, and phenolic substances. The grapesâрЙ quality determined the exceptionally good quality of the produced wines. Fermentation, duration of maceration, and malolactic fermentation were all conducted under strict control.
