Winemaker's notes:
The Graham Sauvignon Blanc vineyard is located in the Lower Dashwood of the Awatere Valley in Marlborough. “From this site we are able to create Sauvignon Blanc of outstanding intensity,” describes Villa Maria’s senior winemaker George Geris. “The vineyard’s terroir is one of a kind. It is less than a kilometre from the sea and the vines are slow ripening due to the ocean’s temperature regulation, the vine age and the unique approach we take to canopy manipulation.”
